This is going to be a silly post, but I wanted to write down some thoughts I've been having about horses and forgiveness.

I have been inspired by the way horses allow us (humans) to make mistakes. They don't hold grudges. They don't gossip behind your back. They don't complain. They continue to watch you. And when you finally figure out what you are doing wrong... they forgive you. They allow you to change.

I wish I could say I do everything right with Cowboy, but I don't. I'm human. The amazing thing about this class is that it gives Cowboy and I a chance to learn together, to be patient with one another, and to learn to love what we are doing... together.

Why can't people be more like horses?
